I recently used Visual Recollection to restore a water damaged photo of my grandmother. It was a framed portrait of her which was completely submerged during Hurricane Katrina. Quite a bit of mold formed while being stored since then, as well as the print being sealed to the glass pane. I was so pleased with not only the results of their work, but of the hospitality and timely fashion with which they did it. I will certainly recommend everyone to use these extremely talented artists, as I am sure they take personal care and interest in every project as they did mine! Thank you, Visual Recollection! You made my day!

I want to thank Daesha and Thomas for their great service. I had a couple hundred slides just sitting in old slide trays from my days of serving in Southeast Asia. Now that they are on a disc I have been able to share my photos of Thailand and Vietnam with any number of Air Force buddies and have even used them for sermon illustrations. Daesha got so excited about it when I told her of my military pictures. She and Thomas certainly made it a personal project and even listened to a few of my old stories!

I would recommend them to any “Vets” out there that may have some old photos, slides, or super 8 films just sitting in a closet somewhere! My slides (taken with an old, cheap Instamatic) came out great! Thanks guys!

I worked with Daesha and Thomas to prepare a 320 page hard cover book concerning the three immediate descendants and all the known ancestors of my maternal grandparents. I drafted the narrative section for each person covered. I also gathered and organized hard copy attachments for each person, comprising in total hundreds of photographs, citizenship and military documents, video clips, memorabilia, and other family records. Thomas and Daesha began by digitally recording all the records and improving substantially the images taken from some of the old photos. It was in this context that, without my even asking, they took two or more DVD images of parts of a large gravestone in a 14th century Irish abbey to construct one digital image of the entire stone for inclusion in the book. This is just one example of how they went well beyond what I expected. The next big step was for them to take the text and attachments and to lay the information out electronically, exactly as it would appear on the pages of the book. They did this very well, balancing my competing interests in keeping the project costs as low as practical and in having the material presented in a visually attractive and well organized way. The final big step was to go through the electronic draft several times, checking to make sure everything was clear to the reader and factually accurate. Thomas and Daesha were extremely patient and careful at that stage. This project was very important to me. As far as I am concerned, the 22 direct descendants that received copies liked the book so much in large part because of the technical skills, artistic abilities, and giving nature of these two fine people. I highly recommend Visual Recollections without any reservations.

Thomas & Daesha are wonderfully talented & gracious individuals with an impressive studio & repertoire of services. I have used their services on several occasions both for printing unusual sized photos & transferring very old slides to digital disc. Very impressed with quality, professionalism
& pride that is obvious with every project they produce. I highly recommend their services.

I recently came to Visual Recollection with an 1850′s portrait of the Great, Great Grandparents of my wife. The portrait had not been taken very good care of and was in a very bad condition. Visual Recollection did a magnificent job of digitally restoring the portrait and it now hangs proudly in our family gallery. I have a number of similar pictures of ancient ancesters that I will only trust to Visual Recollection for restoration. Anyone considering using their services will not be disappointed – I sure wasn’t.

I have hired Visual Recollection a number of times to handle textbook cover design for my company, and they continue to impress me with their creativity and superior service. I also recently worked with them on a two-week long photo shoot for a makeup textbook, where they went completely above and beyond expectations. They handled model research, location scouting and took the time to shoot a lot of extra images that will be valuable to our product. The quality of the photography was second-to-none and their technical skills, friendly manner and high level of organization made the whole shoot a really fun and incredibly well-run experience. I would recommend Visual Recollection to anyone seeking graphic design, photography, photo restoration or digital archiving services.

I’ve been doing busines with Daesha & Thomas for the past year and I can’t express enough how talented they are. They designed business cards and brouchures for my mobile Disc Jockey Business. I continue to receive compliments on the graphic design.
I also hired Daesha & Thomas to do a photo shoot at a wedding last September, the photos came out awesome.  In addition, they put together a promotional slide show that appears on our web site. We receive so many compliments and our business has increased. They designed our business logo and it is most classy.
Most recently, I hired them to design logos for our new gobo light. We used these at the last two weddings and proms….They are a big hit.
Again, everyone complimented the graphic design and asked who did them for us!  Anyone considering using their services will be extremely satisfied, I will continue to do business with Thomas & Daesha, not only are they extremely talented, but their special and invidualized attention given to their customers is most appreciated.
It is without hesitation that I recommend Thomas & Daesha from
Visual Recollection.
